GOGO and LALA's Vacation to SoCal!
Larona and I cruised to the bay area and then points further south in the Toyota Sienna mini-van.....we had a wonderful time. Oh...I know you were going to ask: we averaged 22 MPG: highway, uphill, downhill, PCH route 1, etc. Not bad! Our first road trip and we logged something like 950 miles!
Well we drove to the bay area on Friday with Wanda in the back seat, yacking and surfing the web on her wireless I-dont-know-what-the-fuck gadget, but we had a grand time. We went out to dinner @ La Crayola (or something like that) and I had wonderful AhHAHA Tuna, and couldn't hear shit, in the loud restaraunt. We crashed at Kent and Terries mansion in San Carlos and hit the road saturday morning.
Our first stop was in Solvang for dads 80th birthday. OK, enough of that. Lets just say we survived not one but THREE birthday partys and got out of there to enjoy Solvang crowds
